It is thoroughly cleaned between every stay and carefully maintained — but it is not a newly renovated or hotel-style property. We believe in full transparency so your stay matches your expectations. Interior & Surfaces Countertops have minor permanent discoloration from years of use. This is a material characteristic, not a cleaning issue. Hardwood floors and carpets show natural wear, minor paint marks, and have not been recently refinished or waxed. They are clean but carry the patina of an older home. Most of the walls are recently painted but unpainted walls have minor scuffs and marks consistent with a long-term family residence — cosmetic only. Bathroom grout and caulk show age-appropriate darkening; the space meets hygiene standards but is not cosmetically pristine. Appliances & Fixtures Appliances are fully functional. Some hard-to-reach interior crevices may show minor surface oxidation or discoloration. These areas do not contact food and present no health concern. Fixtures and hardware reflect the original 2007 construction — functional but not recently updated. Outdoor Space The backyard contains a large bare dirt area with no grass coverage. This is a permanent landscape feature, not the result of weather or neglect. Please review outdoor photos carefully if this matters to your stay. This home is a great fit for guests who value comfort, cleanliness, and honest value in a real family home. This home may not be the right fit for guests expecting a hotel experience, freshly renovated finishes, or a pristine new-construction aesthetic.
